CORINA CIOLACU
Family Physician
Corina is full-service family physician with a special interest in non-pharmacological treatments (injection therapy) of musculoskeletal pain. She is a member of Canadian Association of Orthopaedic Medicine and a licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada, the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
Since residency, Corina developed her interest into injection therapy by actively training in Prolotherapy, Perineural injection and trigger point injection techniques. She pursued advance prolotherapytraining with the Hackett-Hemwell-Patterson Foundation and volunteered on an extensive medical mission in Honduras.
Corina’s daily goal is to improve and learn new approaches so innovative treatments, new techniques and proven therapies will be made available for her patients.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?
It is fairly easy to sign up with our clinics. You will call our offices and book an appointment for meet and greet. On the day of appointment, your physician will review your medical history and acute health concerns. Once you and your physician decide that you would be a good fit for each other, he/she will arrange for work up or a physical exam if necessary. Please read our clinic's policy to make your appointments go as smooth as possible.
ARE YOUR SERVICES COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Most of the primary care and specialty services are covered by your medical services plan. There are certain services such as doctor's notes and filling insurance forms that are not covered. We have a list of uninsured services visible in our clinics reception area. Some of our services including prolotherapy and Botox injection for migraines may be covered by your extended health insurance. Our cosmetic services are not covered by insurance.
CAN I GET A SAME-DAY APPOINTMENT? DO YOU OFFER WALK-IN CLINIC SERVICES?
Yes, majority of our doctors see both walk-in and booked patients. Please allow some time for waiting if you are coming in for a walk-in appointment.
IS THERE A CHARGE FOR NO-SHOW APPOINTMENTS?
Currently, we do not charge no show fees. However if you are not able to make your appointment, please let the clinic know as soon as you can so that time can be given to a patient that might need it.
